Hi!! I'm Gracie Szymanski

I'm a curious, growth-minded, CG artist with a passion for technical puzzle-solving, and an eye for aesthetics. I have a proven track record of bringing a real sense of care and intention to every project I am lucky enough to work on. I have experience across the whole CG pipeline and specifically love FX and lighting & look development the best. My biggest inspiration has to be How to Train Your Dragon or Avatar: Way of Water.

Right now, I am currently available for freelance, part-time, and full time positions. In my freetime, I love hanging out with my adorable orange cat Mango, reading, cake decorating, and drinking a delicious iced coffee! For inquiries, please don't hesitate to get in touch via email or phone:

My Community Involvement

I believe the best art comes from a thriving community of artist, so I put a lot of energy into the participating in and creating communities around me. At SCAD, I co-founded the Women in VFX Club to support women, minorities, and allies in our department. As president, I helped grow it to 300+ members, organized 10+ speaker events with industry professionals, and led our officers to keep everything running smoothly. Today, I’m part of the Women in Animation “Breaking in as a CG Artist” mentorship circle, where I swap feedback with fellow mentees and my mentor and keep learning from people further on the same path as me. I’ve also had the joy of volunteering at SIGGRAPH in 2024 and 2026, supporting the conference and meeting the artists and industry leaders who inspire me.
