This post details my experimentation with using generative AI during the ideation process and the beginning stages of project creation.
Oura Ring Spec Ad Ideation Images Generated using Google Gemini:
Through using Gemini for this project, I've found the best way to prompt it is to give it some sort of starter image, such as a storyboard or a similar image, and then have the AI alter it. It is very hard to find a result you want when you prompt the AI with only a description.

Using AI to create simple textures:
I needed to create a fake cherry vanilla poppi flavor for this poppi spec ad.
The shirley temple poppi matched the best with the cherry aesthetic. I then used Google Gemini to come up with a mock design for the cherry vanilla ad.
I then used Gemini to flatter the texture.
I then needed to do simple editing in photoshop to fill in the gaps and create a usable texture for my can model.
